About

About us

hobbyinterest.net is a free, ad-free educational library about breathing and breathwork. It exists to answer a narrow set of questions clearly: how breathing works, what the published research does and does not support, and how to practise specific techniques safely. There is nothing to buy here, nothing to subscribe to, and no account to create.

Who publishes this site

This site is published as a public-education project of Central Texas Model United Nations, Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization based in Austin, Texas.

CTMUN's principal work is civic and international-affairs education for students — Model United Nations conferences, training and related programming. hobbyinterest.net is a separate public-education project under the same organisation, covering practical wellbeing information.

How the library is organised

The library is grouped into four parts: breathwork foundations, everyday breathing mechanics, breathing for anxiety, stress and sleep, and specialised methods. Articles cross-reference one another where the subjects genuinely overlap, so you can follow a thread as far as it is useful. Each article opens with a table of contents and can be read on its own.

Our editorial approach

How this site is funded
